Announcement for Chapter 14: March 27, 2004

Sarah's website now has 60 new pictures from the last five months, including many that Sarah herself photographed. (She has inherited her grandmother's documentarian eye, with a tinge of Diane Arbus. Three feet off the floor is an interesting perspective on the world.)

For photos, see "Chapter 14, Fairy Avenger: In Which Our Heroine Saves the Day with her Magic Wand."

Latest Ever Stayed Up: 2:15 AM, 1/1/04 [We let her stay up as late as she wanted on New Year's Eve. Finally, after we went to bed, she melted onto a mat on her floor, but still would not go to bed.]

Best Bedtime-Stalling Technique: "Let's all get cozy by the fire. Let's have hot chocolate. Now let's all get warm blankets. I'll get one for you-- you just stay there. Now let's all read our books under our blankets in front of the fire...we'll just sit here and read our books... you read your books, parents, and I'll read my book... isn't this cozy? Isn't it hyggelig?" [hyggelig is a Danish word more or less meaning "convivial"].

Life with Sarah is Always An Adventure.
